Dalglish happy with Liverpool's squad depth

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has insisted he is happy with his squad's depth ahead of its trip to Newcastle on Sunday.
Craig Bellamy, Maxi Rodriquez, Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger and Martin Kelly all missed the defeat to Wigan at Anfield in the club's last outing and despite admitting his squad had been tested in the last week after three games in seven days, the 61-year-old still believes he has a strong selection of players to choose from.
"We have a very strong squad which has been stretched but so have other people who are in a similar position," he told reporters. "It was stretched at the weekend after three games in seven days but that has gone now.
"The clear week we have gives everyone a chance, if they have bumps and bruises, to get rid of them and it gives the boys another week to get fit. We should get a few back but it's only Thursday for a Sunday game."
Charlie Adam is one player who definitely won't feature against Newcastle but his manager has rejected claims that the former Blackpool player will miss the rest of the season.
"Charlie's another two weeks and then we'll find out a proper diagnosis without people speculating what's wrong," Dalglish continued. "Rather than be inaccurate or incorrect or someone making up a story we will wait and see in a couple of weeks how long he's going to be out."
