Chelsea on Napoli racism watch
Posted Tuesday, February 21, 2012 by The Sun
CHELSEA will make an official complaint to UEFA if any of their players are racially abused in Napoli's stadium tonight.
Daniel Sturridge and other team members were subjected to monkey chants as they arrived at their team hotel yesterday.
Around 150 Napoli fans started the gestures as Sturridge made his way from the bus.
And they repeated the chants when the squad were seen assembling for their lunch.
A Blues spokesman warned: "If any member of our team or staff are subjected to racist abuse we would find that wholly unacceptable and it would be reflected in our conversations with UEFA.
"Chelsea FC finds any form of discriminatory behaviour totally abhorrent and has no place in society whatsoever."
