FUMING ... Arsene Wenger slammed his players after their thrashing in Milan
ARSENE WENGER tore into his Arsenal players at a team meeting yesterday.
The fuming Emirates boss had said nothing in the dressing room after Wednesday's 4-0 Champions League humiliation in Milan.
But the players were called into training, despite not arriving home until 3am.
And Wenger made it clear the performance was totally unacceptable.
Former Gunners and France midfield star Emmanuel Petit reckons Wenger must kick out the flops immediately.
Petit, a Double winner in 1998, said: "You have to send out a strong sign.
"You have to tell the Arshavins, the Rosickys 'Gentlemen, thanks, but goodbye.' And fast. Arsenal will need five or six players with real status and a lot of experience."
Wenger is already set to reshuffle his backroom staff in a summer shake-up.
Youth coach Steve Bould is likely to replace 62-year-old Pat Rice as Wenger's No2.
