Barcelona wins 3-1 at Leverkusen in Champs League

Lionel Messi and Alexis Sanchez starred for Barcelona in a 3-1 win at Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Messi scored and set up one of Sanchez’s two goals to put the defending champions in control following the first leg.
Sanchez put Barcelona ahead in the 41st minute, slotting the ball past goalkeeper Bernd Leno and inside the left post after being put through by Messi.
Bayer defender Michal Kadlec equalized in the 52nd with a header from Vedran Corluka’s cross.
Sanchez answered three minutes later, Cesc Fabregas slicing open the defense for the Chilean to finish from a tight angle.
Messi, who struck the post in the 72nd, scored in the 88th after a being picked out in the box from a pinpoint cross from Dani Alves.
