Real Sociedad vs Sevilla preview - Michel confident of success

New Sevilla coach Michel is convinced the club have the potential to do well this season as he prepares for his first test at Real Sociedad on Monday.
The former Real Madrid star took the reins of the Andalusian outfit earlier this week from Marcelino Garcia, who was sacked after last weekend's 2-1 loss to Villarreal.
Sevilla have not won in their last seven Primera Division games and go into the clash at the Anoeta stadium on the back of two straight defeats.
Despite the team's poor run of form, the former Getafe tactician is convinced he can turn things around.
"I see a responsible team and I am confident we will achieve the club's aims this season," Michel said.
"Our first step is to win in San Sebastian on Monday.
"We have several good players in the team and I will demand the maximum from them."
Michel knows his side will be put to the test by Real Sociedad.
"Real Sociedad have very good players and we must stop them from playing their game," he said.
"We are the ones that have to take control from the start and make life difficult for our rivals."
The Basque outfit lost 2-1 at Barcelona having previously thrashed Sporting Gijon 5-1. They are just two points behind Sevilla heading into Monday's game.
"I expect a very combative game," Real Sociedad coach Philippe Montanier said.
"Both teams are in need of points and each side will go out determined to get a crucial win."
Montanier hopes to recover strikers Diego Ifran and Antoine Griezmann in time for tomorrow's game with both players doubtful with minor injuries.
