Granero: We follow Mourinho to the death

Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero has emphatially declared that the squad will back manager Jose Mourinho “to the death”.
Portuguese tactician Mourinho has been barracked by a section of the Madrid faithful following the side's elimination from the Spanish Copa del Rey at the hands of mortal enemies Barcelona.
Rumours have also emanated in recent weeks that Mourinho has clashed with senior Madrid players such as Sergio Ramos and skipper Iker Casillas and that the former Inter Milan boss had lost the dressing room.
Granero however, has rubbished whispers that the Madrid squad are opposing Mourinho's leadership.
"Mourinho has a very special way of being which allows him to connect easily with the players," Granero told bwin's website.
"He creates a very powerful bond with the players and he makes us be at the top, follow him to the death and go in the same direction."
Granero was repeatedly linked with a move to English outfit Liverpool in the January transfer window after falling behind the pecking order but a recent ankle injury to Sami Khedira has allowed the former Getafe schemer to jostle for his spot in the Madrid first eleven.
"I have always felt important," he added.
"This feeling is not only related with playing time, the fact that you are part of the squad makes you feel important.
"I need to always be available because we have a short squad and I can be needed to play at any moment."
