Stirling vs Forfar preview - Allison available again

I have a say

Stirling welcome defender Brian Allison back from suspension as they host Forfar knowing a win would take them off the foot of the table.

Midfielder John Cawley is also available after work commitments kept him out of the 2-0 defeat to Arbroath in midweek but Shaun Fagan drops out through suspension and Stevie Nicholas is unavailable.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "There is a prize available for winning this game and that is to get off bottom spot. We played well at Gayfield and I could not believe I was giving the half-time team talk two goals down.

"I am sure that if we show the same appetite and desire in this game we will get a better reward."

Forfar will be without Stephen Tulloch when they take on Stirling after the defender joined Berwick on loan earlier this week.

Iain Campbell, David Mowat and Martyn Fotheringham could all return after missing out on the 2-2 draw with Stirling on January 24.

A sense of frustration has been building in manager Dick Campbell since that game as he explained: "We lost a two-goal lead and then lost the chance to get that out of our system when the Dumbarton game was postponed.

"It looked like we were heading up the way after beating Stenhousemuir and Cowdenbeath but losing those goals and then the postponement means we are back facing a fight to avoid going bottom. It is very frustrating."
