Lucas: Happy in his homeland and has no intention to speak with Inter Milan
Sao Paulo starlet Lucas has no desire to make a move to Italian giants Inter Milan, claims his representative Wagner Ribeiro.
The 19-year-old is considered to be a hot prospect, with the highly-rated forward having already won 10 senior caps for Brazil.
It does not take long for South American talent to register on the European radar, and interest in Lucas' services has been building for some time.
It would take a sizeable bid to prise him away from Sao Paulo, with few clubs in a position to be able to afford the talented teenager.
Inter can consider themselves to be part of that select group, and they have sent representatives to Brazil in an effort to do a deal.
Staying
The Serie A outfit are set to be left disappointed, though, as Lucas has no plans to head for European football any time soon.
"We know of the interest, we were informed of the news, but the player does not want to go," said Ribeiro in the Brazilian media.
"We are not open to talks because Lucas has expressed an interest in staying.
"Sao Paulo also have no desire to open negotiations."
