Airdrie United vs Dumbarton preview - Owens' goal is to be fit for Dumbarton clash

Airdrie winger Graeme Owens is a doubt for the home clash with Dumbarton with a place in the play-off zone available to the winners.
Manager Jimmy Boyle's search to bring in a goalkeeper and a full-back to bolster his squad so far proving fruitless.
Boyle is determined his men get into the top four as he said: "Our aim at the start of the season was to make the play-offs and that remains our aim now.
"Dumbarton will come here and attack us and we need to counter that.
"Cowdenbeath showed why they are league leaders when they beat us last week but if we show the dig that we showed when we defeated Albion Rovers and Forfar in the league recently then we will do okay."
Dumbarton will be without midfielder Kieran Brannan, who has joined Clyde on loan after the return to fitness of Martin McNiff and Kevin Nicoll.
Sons manager Alan Adamson is hoping to bring in a striker with SPL experience prior to kick-off for a contest he believes will have goals in it.
Adamson said: "Airdrie like to attack and so do we, so it should be an open contest. We looked a more solid outfit against Brechin last week so hopefully we can continue that in this game.
"A win keeps us right in the hunt for a play-off place and also opens up a gap on Airdrie so that has to be our aim."
