AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic voted for Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola as his Coach of the Year at Monday's annual Fifa Ballon d'Or Gala in Zurich, AS reports.
The Sweden skipper had a troublesome relationship with the successful trainer during his spell at Camp Nou, and recently hit out at Guardiola in his autobiography that was published in 2011.
Nevertheless, Ibrahimovic did not let his previous conflicts affect his selection and gave his first vote to the Barcelona coach.
Guardiola beat the likes of Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho and Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson to win the prestigious award. Last year's edition of the award went to Mourinho.
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic voted for former teammate Lionel Messi as his player of the year, with Manchester United's Wayne Rooney as his number two, and Barcelona's Andres Iniesta in third position.
