Striking Eto’o hit with lengthy ban

CAMEROON star Samuel Eto'o has been banned for 15 MATCHES - for encouraging his team-mates to go on strike.
The 30-year-old skipper urged the Indomitable Lions NOT to travel to Algeria for a friendly international, the Cameroon Football Federation said.
A statement on its website also claimed that Ajax midfielder Enoh, 25, was culpable and "lacked respect for the vice-president of Fecafoot."
Cameroon's players boycotted the friendly in Algiers in November when the players said they had not received money promised for their appearance in a four-nation tournament in Morocco.
Four-times African Footballer of the Year Eto'o joined Russian Premier League club Anzhi Makhachkala from Inter Milan in August. The players have 10 days to appeal.
