Aston Villa ended a goal drought which had seen them go three games without scoring when Marc Albrighton and Stiliyan Petrov earned a 2-1 win at Bolton, their first away victory of the season, but have key frontman Gabriel Agbonlahor suspended this weekend.
Liverpool have suffered some frustrating results against teams in the bottom half of the table but managed to get it right when beating QPR 1-0 at Anfield, although they should have enjoyed a more comfortable success given their overall dominance.
The Reds have the ability to beat any team on their day and the feeling is they can prove just a cut above Villa here, with Luis Suarez always a worthy favourite to net first and 2-1 the predicted scoreline.
