Cowdenbeath welcome defender Thomas O'Brien back into their squad after a thigh strain for the visit of Arbroath.

Blue Brazil boss Colin Cameron is hoping the storms that have been battering Scotland will have died down before kick-off

He said: "Both Arbroath and ourselves like to pass the ball along the ground and this game should be a great advert for the Second Division.

"It would be great if the wind stays away and a lot of fans can turn up for what should be a great contest.

"The boys showed desire last week when they can back from a goal down three times at Albion Rovers and we will need that same level of desire in this game."

Arbroath player-manager Paul Sheerin has ruled himself out of the top-of-the-table clash.

Sheerin has a knee injury but striker Jordan Elfverson is available after an ankle knock.

Sheerin said: "I am afraid it will be a shirt and tie day for me which is disappointing as this would have been a great game to play in.

"Both sides will be going all out for a win and Stenhousemuir will be sitting back hoping for a draw.

"There was little between Cowdenbeath and ourselves at our place when we drew and I expect there will be little between us again, but it would be a fantastic game to win in terms of our mentality going in to the rest of the season."
