Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has declared that he will play with one striker against Barcelona in Saturday's 'El Clasico' clash.
The former Chelsea boss stated that when the two European giants face-off he plans to use a lone frontman supported by Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel di Maria.
Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema have both been in good form recently but Mourinho has not yet mentioned which forward he would use.
"Both of them will not play. It will be Cristiano and Di Maria and Benzema or Higuain," Mourinho said.
Normal
Higuain scored in Los Blancos' 3-0 victory over Ajax on Wednesday but the Argentine is still uncertain whether he will start against his club's feirce rivals.
"I don't know. It is not my decision. I am happy helping the team and now I am going to rest and then think about the next game," Higuain said.
Both Madrid and Barca have played in the UEFA Champions League this week but the focus has been on the upcoming 'El Clasico', however, Mourinho claims he sees it as just another league game.
"It is one more game and there is not much time until it starts," said Mourinho. "That is normal for us. For everyone else it is a different game, but for us life continues as normal."
