Juventus vs Cesena preview - De Ceglie determined to lift Juve

Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie is confident his team can keep up their great run of form when they host Cesena.

The Turin giants came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at Napoli on Tuesday and extend their unbeaten run in Serie A to 12 games.

The result in Naples lifted Juve two points clear at the top of the standings.

"The belief in our means is growing because we're doing well,"De Ceglie said. "But we must keep our feet on the ground.

"We showed great intensity and team unity against Napoli.

"We must do this again against Cesena.

"There are no easy games and we'll have to approach Sunday's encounter as if it was a final."

Antonio Conte's expansive attacking style could be affected by the absence of pivotal playmaker Andrea Pirlo, who is suspended.

Pirlo has featured in all of Juve's league games this season since joining the Turin club from AC Milan this summer.

"Pirlo is a very important player for us on the field and off it," Conte said.

While Pirlo serves a one-game ban, midfielder Claudio Marchisio returns from suspension.

Marchisio has scored an impressive five goals in 11 league appearances for Juve this season.

Cesena owner Igor Campedelli fears his players may be intimidated by facing Juve at the Turin Stadium.

"I fear the atmosphere at the Bianconeri stadium," Campedelli said. "In Cesena we don't have 40,000 people to do a test in order fo the team to know what to expect on Sunday."

Campedelli is under no illusion as to the challenge that awaits his players on Sunday.

"It's scary the way Juventus are playing this season," Campedelli said. "The only consolation for us is that Pirlo will not play."

Cesena are 19th in the standings, two points from safety, but go into the match on the back of three straight wins in all competitions.

The arrival of coach Daniele Arrigoni last month has inspired the Romagna club.

Cesena followed their Serie A wins over Bologna and Genoa with a midweek 3-0 triumph over Gubbio that saw them progress to the last 16 of the Coppa Italia.

Former Juventus striker Adrian Mutu, who struck twice in last weekend's 2-0 win over Genoa, will lead Cesena's attack this weekend.
