Airdrie United 3 : 3 Arbroath - Donnelly at the double

Ryan Donnelly's brace earned his side a point as Airdrie and Arbroath played out a 3-3 thriller at New Broomfield.
Airdrie came in to the game following their recent 11-0 cup victory over Gala Fairydean, but fell behind when Gavin Swankie curled a 25-yard free-kick home after two minutes.
Paul Lovering made it 1-1 from the penalty spot four minutes later after Brian Kerr handled in the area, before Arbroath regained the lead three minutes before half-time; Steven Doris converting a penalty after Kevin Green handled inside the box.
Josh Falkingham made it 3-1 on 56 minutes with a clinical right-footed effort before Donnelly scored his first of the game, heading home Derek Holmes' cross after 68 minutes.
Three minutes later Donnelly scored Airdrie's equaliser, again with his head, this time Sean Lynch was the provider.
