Fashion designer Victoria is said to be excited about the move. ‘She thinks it will help develop her brand and that Paris will open doors for her.’

The couple already own a chateau in the South of France but have instructed aides to look for an apartment in Paris.

‘David has been worried about the boys having American accents, and he and Victoria miss their families in the UK. This way they will be closer to home,’ added the source.

She may be one of Hollywood’s most talented young actresses, but Twilight star Kristen Stewart doesn’t have the best co-ordination – and producers of the latest film in the saga had some fun with the 21-year-old on set.

‘We pretended to have a very elaborate dancing scene during the wedding sequence because we know Kristen doesn’t like to dance,’ director Bill Condon said at the London premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1.

‘You should have seen her face. It was precious.’
