Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola returned to Brescia on Sunday to watch his old side's 1-0 home loss to Ascoli, and admitted that he felt at home in the Lombardy city.
Guardiola left Camp Nou after illustrious 11 years at the Catalan club, and spent two years over two different spells at Brescia.
The 40-year-old was greeted by a banner from the Brescia fans saying: "Pep, pride in our past, a dream for the future", and Guardiola admitted he was delighted to be back.
"In Brescia, I feel like I'm at home," he told Bresciaoggi.it. "Breathing the air in that stadium means so much to me."
And he added: "Brescia's young players are interesting and promising."
Guardiola had previously revealed that he'd be happy to coach Brescia, even saying that he would do the job for free.
