The Spain international has spent just over two weeks on the sidelines due to an ankle injury, but is now approaching a competitive comeback
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has received some positive news in the build-up to Saturday's La Liga match against Real Zaragoza as Pedro has resumed training.
The Spain international picked up an ankle injury in his side's 1-0 away win over Granada on October 25 and has since been out of action.
Pedro missed the games versus Mallorca, Viktoria Plzen, Athletic Bilbao and Hospitalet due to the knock, but Barcelona have now announced on their official website that the attacker is nearing a return to action.
The 24-year-old underwent an individual training session on Saturday before returning to the gym to continue his recovery process.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Pedro will be ready to participate in the match against Zaragoza at Camp Nou on November 19.
