TOURE DE FORCE ... Yaya Toure celebrates his winner at QPR

YAYA TOURE wants Manchester City to become the Invincibles Mk II.

Arsenal are the only team in Premier League history to have gone a whole season unbeaten in their sensational 2003-4 title-winning campaign.

Big-spending City have taken the league by storm in this campaign with 10 wins and one draw in 11 games so far.

Ivory Coast midfield ace Toure has been immense. In the last week he hit a double in the 3-0 win at Villarreal as well as heading the winner in the 3-2 thriller at QPR.

He said: "I came here because I wanted to make history. I want to be part of history at this club.

"For me it's the most important thing. We try not to think about going unbeaten, because the Premier League's not easy and other teams will try to beat us.

"We have tough, tough games and coming up in a couple of weeks we have Liverpool, Newcastle at home, Arsenal and after that we play Chelsea.

"It will be very difficult but we hope we'll continue unbeaten."

City came from 1-0 behind at Loftus Road and Toure's winner arrived when a 2-2 draw was the likelier result.

But it showed boss Roberto Mancini's men can win on an off-day — and they admitted it was a huge confidence booster.

Toure, 28, added: "Coming back in games gives you confidence and makes you feel stronger and stronger.

"Against QPR it was a difficult game and winning was very important because they made us go for 90 minutes.

"It was a very hard victory but we are a fantastic group. It's amazing what we are doing."

The Etihad superstar is adamant City are the complete package and even their SECOND string would be good enough to get at least a Champions League berth.

Toure said: "We have more than one team now — we have got two teams.

"If you see the team that beat Wolves 5-2 in the Carling Cup, people said it was the second team.

"For me, it is not the second team because everybody is good enough to play.

"The team that played against Wolves in the league at home won 3-1, but it was difficult. We have got two teams now that can both play in the Champions League.

"We have got a fantastic squad and everybody is improving. For me it is amazing."

Toure insists City's 6-1 demolition of big rivals United at Old Trafford proves Mancini's men are destined to finish top.

He added: "After the game at Old Trafford some people at home asked me 'Is it real? You beat United 6-1?'

"People understand now City are becoming a big team. A great team. We get fantastic players and we want to beat strong teams like Manchester United and Chelsea. Everybody understands City are coming to the top and we wait until the end of the season because we know the Premier League is not easy to win."

But the £200,000-a-week star admitted that despite the millions of Sheikh Mansour's backing, City are nowhere near his former club Barcelona.

He said: "Ha ha! Honestly I think we are far away. Barcelona are an amazing club with a fantastic squad.

"I think most of the best players in the world are already there — Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Dani Alves.

"They are a fantastic squad. To become like them, we have to work hard and we have to win some trophies. We will continue to work hard to become like them."

YAYA TOURE was speaking at the launch of 10 new African team kits from PUMA, designed by an artist from each respective country. The kits, and works from each artist, are on display at London's Design Museum.
