Real Madrid has revealed on its official website that Kaka and Alvaro Arbeloa are both nursing minor muscle injuries ahead of Wednesday's Champions League contest against Olympique Lyonnais.
The Spanish giants have not disclosed how long the duo will be out for, but it is believed that their involvement in the upcoming match in France is far from certain. Kaka came on as a second-half substitute in Madrid's 1-0 victory at Real Sociedad on Saturday, while Arbeloa played the whole match.
Ricardo Carvalho is still recovering from a back injury and has been ruled out of Wednesday's encounter while Esteban Granero is back in training after missing Friday's practice session.
Madrid currently tops Group D with a perfect record after three games, while Lyon has four points.
