Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that wrestling the Primera Division crown back from Barcelona this season is the priority for Real Madrid.
Speaking at the global premiere of Castrol EDGE Presents Ronaldo Tested to the Limit, the world's most expensive player said, "I want to win La Liga. I think this is the priority for the club. Of course if we win La Liga and we have the opportunity to win the Champions League, why not?"
He added, "Real Madrid have to think big because it is one of the best teams in the world. We're going to work hard this season and try to win that important competition."
The Real Madrid winger won three Premier League titles with his former club Manchester United but has yet to taste top-flight success since moving to Spain in 2009.
Los Blancos have finished second behind Barcelona in each of the last two seasons, and, as a result, Ronaldo's sole honor with his current club came in the Copa del Rey last April, when the Portuguese star scored the winner against the Camp Nou side.
