Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid has the best players in the world

Cristiano Ronaldo voiced his opinion that Real Madrid has the best players in the world in its squad.
The Portugal international insists the quality of his team-mates makes him both happy and desperate to continue improving as a player. And he feels the conditions at Santiago Bernabeu are perfect to do just that.
"We have the best in the world on this squad. That makes me happy and helps me be better. My ambition is always to improve every year, and I'm at a club that guarantees that," Ronaldo said.
"I think all soccer professionals are talented, but you'll never become a great player if you don't work on that talent. I always try to do that. I try to prove my quality on the pitch in games and training sessions. I always try to do things well.
"I didn't have any particular idols as a child. My ambition was to play for my national team because that's where the footballers I mostly followed played. I'm sure I used to do stuff I no longer do due to age or experience. I'm always ready to learn and I always try to improve."
