MARTIN KELLY is tipping Jamie Carragher to become the next manager of Liverpool.
Kop idol Carra, 33, admitted last week that he may retire at the end of next season.
But fellow Reds defender Kelly reckons his long-serving team-mate could be back at Anfield as boss.
Kelly, 21, said: "It's a long way off but Jamie has got all the attributes to become our manager. He'd get the best out of players and wouldn't settle for second best.
"I look forward to seeing such a massive player for the club go into management."
Carragher has racked up 470 Premier League appearances for his hometown club, since making his debut in 1996.
When asked about his future last week, Carragher said: "The time will come in the next 12 to 18 months — maybe two years.
"I've taken my first steps to coaching and the B licence. We all love the game and want to stay involved in it."
