Juventus keen on Carlos Tevez swoop

Juventus are keen to take Manchester City's wayward striker Carlos Tevez on loan during the January transfer window.

According to reports from talkSPORT, the Serie A side are keen to take the mutinous Argentine from England, despite his troubles at the Manchester club, and have sounded the club's hierarchy on a possible deal.

Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta has already been busy trying to make this move happen, holding meetings with both the club and player's representatives, which would see the Italians pay all of his £200,000 per week wages as a result, and include an option for a permanent move at the end of the season as well.

The 27-year-old striker is currently undergoing a two week suspension while the Citizens conduct an internal investigation regarding his actions in the Allianz Arena.

However, in the aftermath of the incident, both the player and his agent, Kia Joorabchia, have since denied accusations that the striker had refused to take to the pitch despite manager Roberto Mancini insisting the otherwise.
