Cesc Fabregas lands £16m Puma boot deal

CESC FABREGAS has agreed a lucrative £16million boot deal with sportswear giant Puma.
The ex-Arsenal captain, now at Barcelona, is believed to have signed a five-year contract.
Fabregas, 24, joined Barca from the Gunners for £35m in the summer and is the latest international star to sign up with the Puma brand.
The World Cup-winning midfielder joins Manchester City stars Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure, Manchester United pair Nemanja Vidic and Phil Jones and Arsenal's Mikel Arteta in the label's expanding stable.
But his defection from Nike completes a miserable week for the US firm.
They are still reeling after European champions Barca, the jewel in the Nike crown, complained their new strip absorbs too much of the players' sweat and makes the kit heavy and uncomfortable.
