Inter president Massimo Moratti is happy with the way Claudio Ranieri blocked the club's recent impasse with speed following back-to-back wins in Serie A and the Champions League.
Ranieri replaced Gian Piero Gasperini and restored order at the club as it beat Bologna and CSKA Moscow. Moratti is staying positive, hoping the good work laid down thus far continues when his team welcomes Napoli at the weekend.
"Ranieri has started very well and he has taken control of the team on a psychological level," he is quoted as saying by La Repubblica. "It was not easy, but these two results are very important."
Speaking of Napoli, which was impressive in Europe as it beat Villarreal 2-0, Moratti told the newspaper, "I think everyone supported Napoli against Villarreal.
"They are a new team with a lively president. They will play us on Saturday and everyone will play their game. However, it is too early to speak about the Scudetto."
Inter is currently 16th in the league standings after a lackluster start to the domestic campaign.
