ROME (AP)—American midfielder Michael Bradley helped set up two goal as Chievo Verona rallied to beat Genoa 2-1 in the Italian Serie A.

Sergio Pellissier tied the score in the 74th minute with a header off Bradley’s corner kick. In injury time, Bradley sent a long pass up the right flank to Gennaro Sardo, who crossed to Davide Moscardelli for the go-ahead goal.

Michael’s father, Bob Bradley, was hired Saturday as Egypt’s coach. Bob Bradley coached the U.S. from 2006 until July.

Milos Krasic scored in the 49th minute, giving Juventus a 1-1 tie at Catania and the Serie A lead.

Gonzalo Bergessio put Catania in front in the 21st minute of the rainy match in Sicily. Krasic scored with the help of an error by Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar,

Juventus and Udinese, which tied 0-0 at Cagliari, are both 2-0-2 with eight points, and Juventus leads on goals scored.

Espanyol’s Walter Pandiani was ejected in the 81st for headbutting Victoriano Rivas.

Levante (3-0-2) has 11 points, even with defending champion Barcelona and Sevilla and just one point behind first-place Real Betis (4-0), which plays Getafe (0-3-1) on Monday.

BERLIN (AP)—Claudio Pizarro scored in second-half injury time to lift Werder Bremen to a 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.

Pizarro also scored in the 23rd, 20 minutes after Gustavo Ramos had put the visitors ahead.

Werder Bremen (5-1-1) is second with 16 points, two behind Bayern Munich (6-1).

Lukas Podolski scored one goal and set up the other to lead Cologne 2-0 past Hoffenheim for its first home win of the season.

PARIS (AP)—Dennis Oliech scored a second-half hat trick to lead Auxerre to a 4-1 win over Sochaux in the French league.

Sochaux forward Modibo Maiga collected a pass from Yassin Mikari to beat goalkeeper Olivier Sorin after only two minutes, but Alain Traore converted a low cross from Oliech to get his sixth goal this season and tie the score in the 51st.
