Roma coach Luis Enrique has stated he has not considered resigning from his role, despite the club's poor start to the season, as the Serie A side look to pick up its first win of the season away at Parma on Sunday.
The club came close to claiming its first three points of the season against Siena on Thursday yet conceded a late equalizer in a game that finished 1-1.
Roma owner Thomas Di Benedetto has given the former Barcelona B tactician his full support, but Enrique is fully aware that a victory over Parma is imperative for confidence in the camp.
"We made many mistakes against Siena it's true. We had little pace but this is in the past now. Have I thought about resigning? As a coach, everything depends on results but I haven't thought about resigning," Enrique told reporters in his press conference.
The tactician was also keen to not highlight particular players for criticism, stating that he is the one to blame for the current poor form of the team.
"I am not worried about individual players but of our general situation because as coach, I am responsible for everything that happens on the field, especially when things are not working well," he added.
"But I also say that I will continue to work with my ideas. The way we play is focused on ball possession and we will continue in this direction. Now things are negative, but I think I can turn the situation over time."
