Harry Redknapp has told talkSPORT that his squad is good enough to reclaim a Champions League place this season.
Spurs competed at Europe’s top table last season but failed to guarantee a place this year after finishing fifth in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites have strengthened their squad during the summer, bringing in Scott Parker, Emmanuel Adebayor and Brad Friedel, and managed to keep hold of wantaway midfielder Luka Modric.
And the Tottenham manager has now claimed he has the squad with enough quality to try and gain a spot in the top four.
When asked about where Spurs will finish this season, Redknapp told Sunday Exclusive: “We’ll be bang there.
“We’ll be pushing them for that top four spot. It’ll be tight though Liverpool, Arsenal and ourselves are all pushing.
“I’ve seen enough to know that the squad we’ve got is capable of having a real go at it again [reaching the Champions League] this year.
