Albion Rovers FC 1 : 1 Stenhousemuir - Acqua rescues point for Albion

Substitute Larry Acqua scored a late equaliser as Albion drew 1-1 with Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Second Division.
An even first half saw both sides restricted largely to long-range attempts before John Gemmell's volley from Steven Canning's free kick was straight at Warriors keeper Alistair Brown in the 42nd minute.
A minute later Derek Gaston had to be alert to keep out Iain Thomas' effort, and the goalkeeper had a let-off just after the break when he fumbled Stewart Kean's cross but Albion cleared.
Stephen Murray broke the deadlock in the 67th minute when he was picked out by Brown Ferguson and found the bottom corner from the edge of the area to put Stenhousemuir ahead.
But Chris Hamilton's cross found Acqua who directed his header into the bottom corner for the equaliser on 82 minutes.
