PSG are considering a swoop for LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham.
Former England skipper Becks is in the final year of his MLS contract and will be a free agent come November.
He has been linked with Tottenham and QPR but PSG sporting director Leonardo is keen to lure him to the Parc des Princes.
The Brazilian worked with Beckham, 36, at AC Milan and insists a switch to France would be perfect for him.
Leonardo said: "The door is open. He is more than a football player — he's a brand, a pop star. I would always consider him.
"He respects the rules, listens to you and wants the best for the team.
"That's why for me he is a big example. I worked with him and that's why I talk about his name."
PSG have plenty of cash to splash after being taken over by rich Qatari backers this summer.
And Leonardo admits the club would not hesitate in making Beckham a tempting offer.
He added: "I coached him at AC Milan and we created a good relationship.
"When you see him every day he trains and plays like a kid.
"He is someone that I really appreciate and admire so much — his values and everything he has done in football."
