BACK ON SIDE ... boss Roberto Mancini and striker Carlos Tevez
CARLOS TEVEZ says his love-hate relationship with Roberto Mancini is now just love.
The Argentinian says bringing his to England will end the bust-ups and demands to quit Manchester City.
Tevez said: "Mancini and I had confrontations in every language.
"We have a love-hate language. We have a love-hate relationship.
"He's a phenomenon. He wants to be a winner and so do I.
"I feel like everything is different to last year. Now I'm with my wife and daughters in England."
Tevez has made just one outing from the bench this season but is not expecting a long wait to get a start.
The striker, 27, added: "I wanted to get in better physical shape.
"Now I'm good and I think I'll be playing again soon. I don't think I'll have lost my place because I'm captain and the symbol of a big club like City."
Tevez was tipped to be the first out of the door during the summer after a string of run-ins with Mancini and the player's claims he could not settle in England without his nearest and dearest.
Mancini said: "I've never had problems with Tevez.
"He simply wanted to leave to spend more time with his family. Now his family are here and having Tevez with us means 20 goals a season.
"Some players have had to sit in the stands.
"From next week we will play every three days and I will need everyone's support from here until the end of the season."
