Lassana Diarra set to join Tottenham

REAL MADRID expect Lassana Diarra to join Tottenham within the next 24 hours.

A three-year deal is close to completion - and the French playmaker's £10million arrival could free up Luka Modric to join Chelsea.

Diarra, 26, is set for his Spurs debut against Manchester City at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
