The song includes the cheesy lyric: "When I see your face, there's nothing that I would change - 'cause you're amazing just the way you are."

A family friend revealed yesterday: "Ashley pretty much murdered the song. But Cheryl loved it."

Blushing Cheryl then sang a track by US country band Lonestar called Amazed. It includes the line: "I'm so in love with you, it just keeps getting better."

The pal said following the slushy antics in Barnet, North London: "It was clearly about Ashley."

The couple have battled to keep their reconciliation hush-hush. But it emerged they also enjoyed a pizza together at the house of Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh, 29.

Chums say the pair now plan to holiday together.

Amazed at No1

THE song Chezza sang to Ashley has become the tune most British newlyweds pick for their first dance.

Lonestar's Amazed only got to No 21 in the UK when it was released here in 2000. But versions by X Factor star Ben Mills and R&B group Boyz II Men helped it top this year's first dance chart, from karaoke firm PureSolo.

I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, by Aerosmith, is at No2 and Shania Twain's From This Moment is at No3.
