I have a say

Captain Iain Davidson, who has a medial ligament injury, is the only absentee from the Raith Rovers squad that host Morton.

The Stark's Park side have won both their games this season, however manager John McGlynn is not getting carried away.

He said: "It is too early in the season to say that we have made a great start but we have something that I would like us to build on.

"I am delighted to be where we are but Morton have also started promisingly. They will be looking to make people sit up and take notice of them by winning here.

"Three wins in a row would be great for us but it will only come about if we play at our best."

Morton defender Marc Smyth looks set to win his fitness battle and be included in manager Allan Moore's side.

Defender Stuart McCafferty misses out through suspension and former Hibernian and Inverness Caledonian Thistle player Kevin McCann is included as a trialist for a second week running to bolster Greenock numbers.

Andy Graham and Sean Fitzharris remain out with knocks, while the midfield pair of Fouad Bachirou and Darren McGeouch are both struggling with hamstring injuries.

Moore said: "Raith Rovers have carried on the good work they did last season and they remain as well organised and disciplined as ever.

"Despite saying that, if we work hard and improve our distribution then I reckon we could well come back with the 3 points."
