Inter will lose a lot of quality if they sell Samuel Eto'o - AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic

AC Milan attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has voiced his opinion that Inter will lose a lot of quality if they decide to sell Cameroon international Samuel Eto'o this summer.

The Giuseppe Meazza side are allegedly on the verge of offloading the 30-year-old to Anzhi Makhachkala for a fee in the region of €35 million, but Ibrahimovic has advised his former side to hold on to Eto'o rather than cash in on the striker.

"It's normal that Inter lose a lot of quality if they lose Eto'o. There are not many players like him around. He has proven to be one of the best players in the world," the Swede was quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.

Eto'o joined Inter from Barcelona in the summer of 2009 in a deal that saw Ibrahimovic move in the other direction.

The African forward has since become a key player at the Italian side and has won Serie A, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, Club World Cup and Champions League trophies with the Giuseppe Meazza club.

His current contract with Inter runs until the summer of 2014.
