Mourinho quickly disappears a day after return

MADRID (AP)—A day after emerging to face the Spanish media for the first time since April, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho quickly disappeared again.
The Portuguese coach failed to show for the news conference following his club’s 2-2 draw against Barcelona on Sunday in the Spanish Supercup.
Assistant coach Aitor Karanka says Mourinho didn’t show because “this was a dynamic we used last year.”
Karanka replaced Mourinho at news conferences from April when he was handed a five-match sanction for alleging UEFA and referees favored Barcelona.
Mourinho returned Saturday for the first time since and quickly declared: “No one will shut me up.”
Karanka did not say whether Mourinho would return to speak before Wednesday’s return leg at the Camp Nou stadium.
