Pique, Busquets could be available for Supercup

BARCELONA, Spain (AP)—Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets could play for Barcelona in the first leg of the Spanish Supercup at Real Madrid despite being injured while with the national team.

Barcelona says both players are carrying knocks from Spain’s 2-1 loss at Italy on Wednesday and how they respond to treatment over the coming days will mark their availability for Sunday’s game at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Pique was substituted after the center back hurt his right leg. Busquets has a bruised right rib.
