Houstons announces signing of Brazilian midfielder Luiz Camargo

The Houston Dynamo announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Luiz Camargo on Tuesday afternoon. Per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are very happy to add Luiz to the team,” head coach Dominic Kinnear said. “He’s a versatile player who can perform well in a number of positions, something that should add depth to our squad. We look forward to bringing him to Houston and have him contribute as we make a push toward the MLS Cup playoffs.”

Camargo, 24, spent the last three seasons with Brazilian second division side Parana making 40 appearances for the club in the process.
