Anderlecht director Herman Van Holsbeeck has said there is no agreement with Chelsea over his club's 13 million euro transfer fee demands for Romelu Lukaku, but has not ruled out a move in the near future.

The Premier League club is expected to continue dialogue with the Belgian side over the 18-year-old, who has long been linked with a move to London.

Lukaku has already started the season with his side after scoring against KV Mechelen on Friday night to grab his second goal in two games.

And while there is no agreement yet, Van Holsbeeck believes a move could still happen if the English side stretches its budget further.

"There is no agreement at the moment," Van Holsbeeck told Het Nieuwsblad.

"The dream of our club chairman [Roger Vanden Stock] is to keep Lukaku to play with our new player, Milan Jovanovic, in the team. But we have to be realistic."

"There are ongoing negotiations and Chelsea know what we want. Imagine that, one day, Roman Abramovich is in a good mood and he offers that amount and this can be fixed tomorrow."

"At the moment that is not the case. However, all three parties know what they want and what we have to do to come to an agreement. And now most of it depends upon Chelsea."

The Guardian claims Anderlecht want 13 million euros up front with a series of subsequent bonus payments depending on how the player performs if an agreement is found.
