Oriol Romeu: Chelsea can match Barcelona

CHELSEA'S new £4.5million teen sensation Oriol Romeu believes he has joined a club to challenge Barcelona.
The midfielder, 19, yesterday sealed a four-year Blues deal after leaving the European champions.
Romeu, Andre Villas-Boas' second signing, will link up with his new team-mates at the end of Spain's Under-20 World Cup campaign in Colombia.
He said: "Chelsea are a great option for me. Leaving Barca hurts but you have to take your chances."
Barcelona have confirmed the deal includes a buy-back clause of £8.7m after one year and £13m after two.
His arrival will help offset the loss of Michael Essien, who faces six months out with a serious knee injury.
Villas-Boas said: "It is a part of the squad where we are struggling with numbers because of Michael's injury. Oriol is one of the most promising young players in that position."
