Blackburn have slapped a £12m price tag on Chris Samba in a bid to keep him at Ewood Park.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both put the giant defender on their summer shopping list.
But Rovers’ Indian owners Venky’s are reluctant to sell following the departure of Phil Jones to Manchester United.
Chris Samba is keen on joining a bigger club and Spurs are willing to offer £6m plus at least one player but Rovers are holding out for a straight cash deal.
Rovers midfielder David Dunn said: “The good thing with Chris is every time he goes on the pitch for us he gives 100 per cent.”
