Anderlecht: No £20m bid from Chelsea for Lukaku

Anderlecht have denied claims Chelsea have made a £20m offer for teenage sensation Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is a keen admirer of the stocky striker and has eulogised about him this summer, with the new boss eager to strengthen his squad, particularly up front.

Dubbed the 'new Didier Drogba' thanks to his powerful build and scoring prowess, Lukaku is said to be keen on a move to Chelsea and was once pictured in a Chelsea shirt while taking a tour of the club's ground.

It has been reported that Chelsea have made a new bid for the 18-year-old but talkSPORT has been told that is not the case.

A spokesman for Anderlecht said: "There's no news on Lukaku. There has not been a bid from Chelsea or anyone and he's still an Anderlecht player."
