Kaka in Mourinho's plans

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has declared that boss Jose Mourinho has included him in his plans for the upcoming season.

The Brazilian addressed the media in a press conference after Real's 2-1 victory over Philadelphia Union and stated that he is happy ahead of the 2011-12 campaign.

The 29-year old transferred to the Spanish capital in 2009 after six years playing for Milan but has struggled to cement his place in the Galacticos' side.

However, he has now been told by Mourinho that he will be needed for next term amid speculation linking him with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

The midfielder, who is taking part in his first full pre-season for Real was quick to express his content at doing so.

He said: "For me it is very important taking part in training, last year was very different for me. Every day I am improving, I feel better physically.

I am very happy to be working - slowly I have more confidence. I think I need a lot of confidence."

The Brasilia-born star has said that he never wanted a move away from Madrid and is looking forward to pulling on the famous white strip next season. "I always said I wanted to stay. I am playing for Madrid and I want to convince (the boss that I am good enough)," he added.

"Although there has been much speculation I knew (that I was staying), I had spoken to the club and with the coach.

"There are three reasons for me not to leave: I do not want to leave; the coach told me he wanted me for the next season and the club told me that they did not want to sell me.

"It's very special to me because after two difficult seasons it (this one) can be very good. Mourinho has asked me to enjoy playing and that I play with confidence."

Despite this, Milan midfielder Gennaro Gatusso has declared that he would love the former Ballon d'Or winner to rejoin the Rossneri.
