Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has predicted a difficult season lies ahead for the Catalans and urged his teammates to be ready for any potential pitfalls.
Pep Guardiola's men blitzed their way to the Liga title and Champions League trophy last term as Spanish rivals Real Madrid took the Copa del Rey.
Following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Udinese, plenty more success is expected at Camp Nou, but the 27-year-old Spain international is not getting carried away despite the high expectations.
"I am sure it will be more difficult. Over the last three seasons we have been winning. We have the quality, but now we must prepare ourselves for the fight ahead," Iniesta said, according to Marca.com.
Asked about the objectives for the new campaign, the midfielder said: "I don't want to be a prophet, I like living game by game rather than focus on objectives."
On Thursday Barcelona announced the arrival of Sanchez in a deal which will cost the club 37.5 million euros in total as the Chile international was the club's primary transfer target.
