Fabregas: Is a top target of European champions Barcelona
The potential signings of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez this summer cannot come soon enough for Barcelona forward Pedro.
Barcelona have made Fabregas and Sanchez their main transfer targets in the current window, but have been unable to agree a fee for either player as yet.
Negotiations with the Gunners are set to drag on as the North London side have flown out to Asia for a pre-season tour, while Sanchez is representing Chile at the Copa America in Argentina.
The 22-year-old forward is likely to represent direct competition for Pedro, but the Spain star says he would welcome the challenge.
"Alexis is a great player. If the club has focused on him then it means he will be able to help us a lot," he told radio station RAC-1.
"If Cesc and Sanchez can come then we will all be very happy."
Barca's only signing so far this summer has been Hercules youngster Kiko Femenia, who will play in the Second Division with the club's B team next term.
