• Goalkeeper and striker in talks with other clubs
• Dane has been linked with a move to Benfica
Nicklas Bendtner found himself down the pecking order of Arsenal strikers last season.
The Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner and goalkeeper Manuel Almunia are understood to be in talks with other clubs over moves away from the Emirates. Both have been left out of Arsenal's 23-man squad to travel to Asia on Sunday for their pre-season tour. However, Samir Nasri, who continues to be linked with Manchester United, will make the journey.
The France international Nasri has been the subject of intense speculation this summer, but his manager, Arsène Wenger, has repeatedly stated his determination to keep both him and captain Cesc Fábregas, who continues to be linked with Barcelona. While Fábregas misses the tour with a hamstring problem, Nasri will be in the group heading to China and Malaysia.
Almunia began last season as first-choice but lost his place to Wojciech Szczesny. Bendtner, who joined Arsenal's academy in 2005, has been linked with a move to Benfica.
The Lille striker Gervinho has not completed his move to Arsenal in time for the tour.
