Fight breaks out after Wayne Rooney visits disabled toilet at Glastonbury

WAYNE Rooney used a disabled loo at Glastonbury - triggering a brawl.

A young blonde told him off after he left the toilet to rejoin wife Coleen.

Minutes later a man in a grey-striped jumper was seen hitting the woman in the face with an outstretched arm.

A bust-up - captured on video - erupted between shouting festival goers until stewards broke up the trouble.

By then Manchester United ace Wayne, 25, had returned to his VIP spot at the Pyramid stage where he was watching indie rockers Elbow.

Student Megan Guy, 21, who saw Saturday's clash, said: "There was a punch and people kicking out at each other.

"Wayne wasn't personally involved but it was very nasty."

The rumpus kicked off after the England striker persuaded a security guard to let him use a toilet in an area for disabled music fans.

Megan, of Brighton, East Sussex, said: "Within seconds of Wayne leaving the toilet he was accosted by a young woman. It seemed she wanted to tell him something.

"Wayne didn't seem too interested and wanted to get back to his wife.

"The woman was shouting at him and before long people on the other side of a barrier started shouting at her."

Guards stepped in as the woman was punched.

Megan said: "Everyone was shocked that Rooney was there. He should have used VIP toilets."

Wayne and Coleen, 25, arrived at the Somerset festival by helicopter last Friday. They stayed in a Winnebago motorhome that cost £6,000 to hire.

Rooney's spokesman said last night: "Neither Wayne nor anyone connected with his party was involved in any fight, brawl or altercation.

"He was taken into the toilet area by staff, which they sometimes do for high-profile guests."
