Posh splurges on baby girl's nursery

Awaiting the arrival of her fourth child, Victoria Beckham has shelled out 50,000 pounds on buying stuff for a baby girl's nursery.

37-year-old Posh, who already has three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz with her husband David Beckham, was said to be having fun creating a proper 'girlie' nursery in their Los Angeles mansion. "Victoria has been desperate for a baby daughter and is going into overdrive. She wants her girl to have the best of everything," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

"The nursery is ready and is a girlie overload. It's very tasteful, mostly cream with dashes of pink. Every detail has been thought of. The design is shabby chic with French-inspired furniture. The baby will get the finest of everything," the source added.

A source told Closer magazine that Victoria splurged 549 pounds on a crib and bought a 1,584 pounds changing table, as well as three teddy bears from top Beverly Hills baby store Petit Tresor.

"One of the stunning pieces is a 6,825 pounds cream wardrobe with bunnies engraved into the frame, which she has already filled," an insider revealed.

"She had bought a few pieces in New York and online, such as a Kate Mack dress, plus she got lots of presents at her baby shower. She's so excited," the source added.
